Little Kankakee River Description

Most of the northern part of the basin is bounded by the Valparaiso Moraine which forms a major divide separating drainage to the Mississippi River from drainage to the St. Lawrence River. The major northern tributaries of the Kankakee River, which flow from the Valparaiso Moraine, are the Little Kankakee River, Crooked Creek, and Singleton Ditch.
