Areas of northern Indiana report conditions as "lots of slush and water on top. Very hard to walk and travel because of rotten ice".
The Chicago fishing expo has been cancelled.
The ice derby tournament has been cancelled at Willow Slought.
The northern 2/3rds of Indiana are about ice free, with just a few excepptions.
Rivers are flooding in this area.
PS: Any place for pay lake info on this site ?? |

Thanks for the north IN report Sam. It's open water here in the central and southern parts of the state. Seeing fish on north banks up shallow warming up. Did some good with the longpole and ultralite rig Monday. |
